Tools Required

Wall Treatment

1. Treatment of irregular rough wall surfaces Since the actual size of the rough house is extremely irregular, if there is a deviation of more than 5cm from the top to bottom of the wall, needs to be leveled with gypsum. Or use wooden strips for fulcrum paving at the maximum deviation. Use a level to measure to ensure the top and bottom are consistent before installing the wall panels.

2.The overall deviation of the wall is not large, but there are hollows or bumps. With the help of a level, fill it with wooden blocks, cement, and plaster.

3.Check whether the wall’s plaster or stucco is waterproof. Although the wall panels are waterproof, in an environment with high air humidity, if the part covered by the wall panels is not leveled and covered by the wall panels, there is a possibility of mold.

It is best to clean the wall primer and all plasters to prevent the wallboard adhesive from not sticking or being easily separated.

Environmental Adaptation

The production of bamboo carbon fiber wall panels is usually off-site, and there are certain differences with the local installation environment, including humidity and temperature.

Therefore, when the decorative wall panels are transported to place, please make sure to tear off the packaging box and store it for at least 24 hours under the local environment before installing it.

Measure the Wall Area and Panels

Use a tape measure to determine the height and width of the wall where you plan to install the panels.

Measure the dimensions of any windows, doors, and electrical outlets on the wall. This will help in planning the panel layout and making necessary cutouts.

Based on the wall measurements, determine the optimal size for each panel. If the wall dimensions don’t perfectly align with the panel sizes, decide whether to trim panels at the top, bottom, or sides.

Use a laser level to mark lines on the wall. These are crucial for ensuring that the panels are straight and aligned properly.

Cut to Match Wall Dimensions

Cutting decorative wall panels accurately is essential for a professional-looking installation. Precision is key, whether you’re trimming panels to fit the curves, and dimensions of your wall, making cutouts for electrical outlets, or shaping panels to fit around obstacles like windows or doors.

Cut to Suit Special Design

In order to adapt to the outer corner or curved surface shape, it is also necessary to use a U-shaped or V-shaped notching machine on the back of the decorative wall panel to facilitate shaping.

After cutting the bamboo charcoal wall panels, they need to be installed. In order to better fix the wall panels, you first need to apply glue on the back.

We recommend using special structural glue for wall panels to better fit the wall.

Three Splicing Methods

1.At the splicing of wall panels, install buckles and screws to secure them further.

But to use buckles, we still need to cut slots on the side of the wall panel or purchase a slotted design before installation.

2.The sides of the wall panels are designed with splicing grooves for seamless splicing.

However, this method can only be adapted to a small range of installations. Large-area walls still require buckles or metal lines to make them stronger.

3.Using this method, the wall panels can be saved from being grooved. Metal lines can play a decorative role, and various types of shapes can also meet different wall designs, such as inner and outer corners, or adding light strips, etc.

Of course, we still need to install screws to reinforce the lines.

Installing Inside Corners

It is easier and cleaner to use metal lines when installing inside corners.

Level

During the installation process, always use a level to measure to avoid deviations in size and angle.

Hot Air Blower to Bend

We can also choose to use a hot air blower to heat it properly and bend it for installation.

Installed Invisible

All nails used for fixation should be screws and must be installed invisible in the grooves.
